The Center for Energy, Marine Transportation and Public Policy

The Center for Energy, Marine Transportation and Public Policy provides a new focal point at Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs for the study of economic, environmental, political, technological and other factors that affect the global production, transportation and consumption of energy. It builds on a number of existing programs at the University, including those of the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory, the Biosphere 2 in Arizona, and the Business, Engineering and Law Schools.

The Center offers an academic program for Students in the Masters of Public Administration or Masters of International Affairs within the School of International and Public Affairs. For industry executives and professionals, scholars, and media analysts, the Center is developing training programs, research initiatives and other programs that will represent a new, objective source of expertise and information on international energy and marine transportation industries.
