Oil Trading under the UN's Oil for Food Program
Lecture
Event Description: Discussion with Morten Burr-Jensen, consultant to Iraq's State Oil Marketing Organization (SOMO) and the Coalition Provisional Authority. During the period from 2000 to August 2003, Mr. Burr-Jensen was one of the two United Nations "Oil Overseers" appointed by Secretary General Kofi Annan to oversee the trading of Iraqi crude oil under the UN's "Oil for Food Program".
