Offer a concentration in International Energy Management and Policy
in the two master's degree programs at Columbia University's School of
International and Public Affairs. Students gain a thorough understanding
of energy and marine transportation fundamentals and related public policy.
Provide training programs for executives and professionals to enhance
their ability to deal effectively with complex economic, political and
social issues confronting the energy industries.
Sponsor conferences, media briefings and other activities on aspects
of energy and marine transportation for the Columbia University community,
industry leaders, policymakers, the media and the public.
Provide a forum for scholars, government officials and energy professionals
to discuss energy policy in an informal environment that is conducive to
an open exchange of ideas.
Provide support for applied energy and marine transportation policy
research.
