Student Energy Research Fellowship

The CEMTPP Student Energy Research Fellowship is a periodic honor awarded to outstanding Columbia University graduate students.  Interested students from any graduate-level program within the University may apply.

Each Student Energy Research Fellow participates in a research and writing project on a topic of current interest in the energy or related marine transportation sector.  Working under the guidance of the faculty of CEMTPP — but largely independently — the Fellow is responsible for producing one authoritative paper of approximately 25-30 pages, which will be published in both print and electronic form and will become part of an ongoing and evolving compendium of Energy Briefing Papers produced by the Center.

In addition to acknowledgement of authorship in the published papers, each Fellow receives a monetary award.
